Title: Night Stalker
Author:Mattel
Rom Player: Part of Intellipack2
Reviewer: -RoG-

Synopsis: Night Stalker is easily one of my all-time favorites on intellivision. You're this guy who is stuck inside some maze that you can't escape from... simply trying to survive for as long as you can. Bats and Spiders are there all the time, and while they can't kill you, they can slow you down until one of the "leaders" of the level comes to finish you off. The leaders are basically these crazy robots from what I can tell and they get progressively harder.

You've got a gun but it only has 6 bullets, and once you run out of bullets a new gun will pop-up at some random place on the screen. At this point you have to rush get to it before one of the robots kills you. Your only safety in the game is in the center box where they can't touch you. But if you make it far enough you'll find that even the box is no longer safe. Why? Because one of the big robots can actually blast holes in it! As if that's not bad enough, there's even an invisible robot too, and believe me, he's hard as hell to kill (or at least he was the last time I made it to that level).

The gameplay is excellent and it's quite a challenge. I also love the droning sound effects, even though they can potentially make you go mad after a while. But that's what the mute button is for right? Anyway, if you own an Intellivision or want to experience one of the finest games ever made for it, be sure to check out Night Stalker.

Strategy Tip: Sometimes you can trick the robots into shooting other robots or creatures on the board. Stand in the line of fire and when the robot fires at you, move out of the way and his bullet just might hit something else that was in the same line.

Best Cheats: None that I know of.
