Title: Final Fantasy II
Author:Square soft

Synopsis: This is a rare RPG that was never formally released in the US. This is one of the better NES RPGs I’ve seen. This is not an RPG for everyone because of the many hours spent building up your characters.

The story is as follows: the evil Paramekian empire invades where your party of four orphans (Frioniel,
Lionheart, Maria, and Guy) live, and they are sent running for their lives. When you battle 4 Dkknights, they kill your party. Don’t worry; it’s part of the story. Frionel wakes up healed by a lady named Hilda and one of her white mages. You’ll quickly find Guy and Maria, but Lionheart is missing, and so your adventure begins.

The advancement system in FF2 is very different; instead of character levels, your stats and weapon/spell use depend on what you do in battle. If you wear heavy armor and just attack, your strength goes up, but to prevent super characters, some stats go up as others go down. For instance, building up your intelligence will bring down your strength.

Best Cheats: This is more of a tip than a cheat.
To get your hp up, fight with weak enimies and lose more than half your curent hp. The same with mp. Trade Maria's bow for a staff early and get your weapon levels up to least 4 at the begining of the game.
