Title: Astrosmash
Author:Mattel
Rom Player: Part of Intellipack1
Reviewer: Mr. Mockery

Synopsis: Now this one brings me way back, Astrosmash was the virst game I ever played for Intellivision and it's still fun to this very day. Nothing incredibly fancy about this game, it's just plain fun like a lot of other Space Invader type games are. You're on the ground shooting up into space to stop all these asteroids from hitting you. If they hit the ground you don't die, but you do lose points. So you want to try to hit as many as you can so that you can advance in the game (you know you advance when the background color changes). When you shoot a big asteroid, it splits into 2 pieces and then you have to shoot them. All of them fall at different speeds.

Furthermore, there are these white oval shaped bombs that fall from the sky and make a real funny sound during their descent. They're either huge and easy to hit or tiny and a bitch to hit (especially when they're falling at a fast speed). If they hit the ground (or you) you die. Then there are these heat-seaking ones that if you don't shoot down or dodge quickly, you're dead.

All of you should play this game, just to get a taste of what Intellivision was all about in the very beginning.

Best Cheats: None that I know of.
