Title: Final Fantasy 3 (2nd Review)
Author:Squaresoft
Rom Player: ZSNESW
Reviewer: Kuzpo

Synopsis: OK, so here's the deal with the plot: The world is in a state in which all magic has been forbidden and forgotten, and technology has the upper hand. Steam... REALLY hi-tech, I tell ya... well, there's a young chick called Terra, who is the only person capable of using magic (or so everyone thinks). She is captured by the evil Empire and forced to fight for them. She gets caught over this and tries to escape the village she attacked, but gets in trouble. She eventually meets a thief named Locke and a young king named Edgar, who might know the way to cure Terra's amnesia and help her find out who she really is.

The game itself... OH MY LORD AND THEN SOME! Remembering how crappy the series was on NES (at least now, in my opinion, don't kill me, oh sweet nostalgic freaks) and how dominant it has been in the vast selection of video games during the last couple of years (number seven kicks ass!!!)? I thought long before even trying VI, known as Final Fantasy 3 in Europe and the U.S., because, well, it was released in the middle, so I was thinking "this shit must be somewhat average", but that is not, I repeat THAT IS NOT the way to speak about the game!

I mean it when I say this game is divine. It's old, but not one bit dated or obsolete. This series became my gaming lifestyle ever since VII found its way to the market, and even though I had suspicions, I spent a very spectacular 40 hours to complete the game without any regrets, dying to complete it again. There are many ways to do things, there are many weapons and accessories with unique names, you can name every character... hell, it would be phenomenal if Square did a complete remake out of this, graphics included! Don't get me wrong; everything in this game is SNES' finest. The graphics, the gameplay, the awesome music; everything. It's also challenging enough and at times, I thought this was even tougher to beat than some of the later games on the two PlayStations. The characters are great and every one of them is very well developed; no one is left behind. Shadow is my definite favorite.

After this, it's probably needless to say that you HAVE to get at least a ROM of this game. This is a masterpiece in its finest form. You won't find a better RPG on SNES, you can take my word for it.
