Synopsis: Of all of those Dragon Warrior games, this is great
albeit graphically challenged. The gameplay is up to par with the first four games, but now monsters can join you when you destroy them. The enemy battle graphics lack animation. Therefore, it shows that Enix should have taken the Super NES Hardware into account. The sound effects are directly ripped from DW4, which sucks. The music however, is kick ass, especially the boss fight theme; too bad that they didn't give each cave its own tune.
Overall, this is great game, but the graphics and sound effects used in its production killed any chance of an American release when it was made.
