Synopsis: I've played pretty much ever basketball game ever made... Everything from NBA basketball for the Atari to NBA 2k3 for the PS2. But when it comes down to having fun, I always come back to this game.
I believe this is the first Basketball game to get officially licensed teams and players for any system. The rosters are an amalgamation of the 90-91 and 91-92 seasons, so you get the Bad Boy Pistons, Jordan after his first title, heck, even Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. The players’ abilities are surprisingly accurate; Dale Ellis and Reggie Miller can hit 3's all day, but Pat Ewing has a hard time with it... Defense comes down to either swiping the ball or blocking the shot, but true to the timeframe, the scores are usually in the low to mid 100's...
If you want ultra-realism, go play 2k3, but if you want nostalgia and just all around fun, this is the B-Ball game for you
Best Cheats: Play as the Bulls and give Micheal Jordan the ball... That in itself is a cheat.
