Title: Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode

Synopsis: The first of two games starring The Professional. As the story goes, a CIA helicopter carrying a vaccine for an experimental bacteriological warfare weapon is shot down over the Statue of Liberty. The CIA concludes that it is part of a plot by the KGB. From the wreckage of the helicopter, a single shell from an M-16 is discovered, which, unfortunately, is a match for the kind Golgo 13 uses. You step in as Golgo 13 as you travel to East Berlin in an attempt to prove your innocence while being pursued by KGB assassins. The graphics are somewhat lacking because the game was made in the late 80’s. The main part of the game is a platform-style walk through the various levels, but there are some scenes with side-scrolling elements, as well as scenes you are periodically pulled into that are reminiscent of a first person shooter, and some first person mazes. The music consists of so-so electronic spy movie themes that give a hint of mystery, as well as some variations on the Golgo 13 theme, but the sound is primarily bizarre noises to indicate weapons being fired and getting injured. The game is decent, but fans of the Golgo 13 series will probably get more out of it than most.
Best Cheats: Level Select - After the helicopter demo ends enter this sequence as soon as you see Golgo's eyes. Press START on Controller One, then hold LEFT-UP + A + B on Controller Two while you press UP, A, B, START on Controller One.
