Synopsis: I bought this game at Wal-mart in 1984. It only cost $5.00. Why did they call it Wabbit instead of Rabbit? Perhaps they were fans of Elmer Fudd.
In Wabbit, you control a farm girl. You're located at the bottom of a garden. In the garden are rows of carrots. On the left and right sides of the garden are five rabbit holes. Rabbits come out of the holes and steal your carrots. You must move left and right and throw rotten eggs at the rabbits to prevent them from stealing your carrots. As each garden of carrots gets stolen, the rabbits get faster. When they steal 100 carrots, the game is over.
This game is kind of similar to the Rip Off arcade game. In Rip Off you must shoot ships to prevent them from stealing your rocks. In Wabbit you must hit rabbits with rotten eggs to prevent them from stealing your carrots. I've also written a review on Rip Off.
Wabbit wasn't one of my favorite Atari games. I doubt that it was very popular. I give it a 3.
