Title: Garfield: Caught in the Act!

Synopsis: I bet you all know one of the most famous cats in the cartoon world, Garfield by Jim Davis. Huge success produced many things: cuddly toys, coffee cups, TV-series, some movies - and of course games. I haven't seen many games about Garfield. This one is one of the better games in my opinion.
So, what's the story behind this game? Our orange furball is watching TV, when Odie appears and messes things up. TV breaks up and Garfield tries to fix it by himself. Unfortunately, he also accidentally creates a monster which traps him inside the TV. Now he must survive through several TV-programs, like horror film, pre-historical document and Ca(t)sablanca.
Graphics are good, functional 2D with some nice 3D touches. Especially the Garfield's own animations are fun to watch and are faithful to original cartoon and TV series.
The game also doesn't take itself too seriously, and it has a nice amount of humour and jokes in it. Look at the enemies, for example. Strange resemblance, isn't it? ;-)
Sounds are working and the music does what's it supposed to. They are made to be cartoony, just as the other sections of the game.
This game ain't perfect, though. Level design sometimes confuses the player too much when considering the fact that this game is mostly aimed for kids. The skill level can also frustrate the younger players.
Anyway, this game definitely is worth playing for Garfield fans of all ages (not only children), also those who are not-so-fans could in my opinion give it a try.
