Title: Mario's Time Machine
Author:The Software Toolworks
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: Randy Johnson
Synopsis: This game is educational. It can teach children history. But besides that, it sucks. You must return fifteen stolen items to their owners in different places and different times. The items are in three different rooms. You must set the time and place for the time machine to send you. For instance, you must visit Plato in Athens of 369 B.C. You must put the B.C./A.D. switch in the correct positions. When you activate the time machine, you begin riding a vehicle on a lake. You must collect about ten mushrooms and go through a portal in the lake. If you go through a portal without collecting every mushroom, you will not travel through time. You'll be returned to where the time machine is. What sucks about this game is that you fight nothing. You only talk to people and answer questions on tests. If you answer every question correctly, you can return the stolen item to its proper owner and complete the time zone. But if you answer a test incorrectly a few times, you are sent back to where the time machine and stolen items are located. As I mentioned above, Mario's time machine is educational. If you have children, you might want to get this game. But otherwise, avoid it like a plague. I give this game a 2.
