Synopsis: Street Racer has 27 game variations. In game 1, there are two lanes. Your car is in the right lane. The Computer car is in the left.
Both you and the computer must pass cars. Each car passed earns one point. The game only lasts a few minutes. Whoever has the most points at the end is the winner.
In game 7, there are two lanes. You're driving what I think is a motorcycle in the right lane. The Computer motorcycle is in the left. You and the Computer must drive through holes in walls. Each wall drove through earns one point. In a few minutes the game is over. Whoever has the most points, wins.
In game 13, there are again two lanes. You drive a car in the right lane. The computer drives in the left. You and the Computer must continuously drive from the bottom to the top of the lane while dodging an object. Each time you and the Computer reach the top of the lane, one point each is earned. Whoever has the most points at the end, wins.
In game 17, there are two spaces. You fly a plane in the right lane. The computer flies in the left. You and the computer must shoot other planes in the lanes. Each plane shot earns one point. Whoever earns the most points at the end, wins.
In game 21, there are two lanes. You drive a car in the right lane. The Computer drives in the left. You and the Computer must continuously run over the numbers 2, 4, and 6. Every number 2 that's run over earns two points. Running over a 4 earns four points. Running over a 6 earns 6 points. Whoever has the most points at the end, wins.
On game 25, there are two lanes. You drive a weird looking car in the right lane. The Computer drives in the left. Both you and the Computer must pass cars. But passing cars on this game variation earns no points. You and the Computer must run over + signs. Each + ran over earns one point. Whoever has the most points at the end, wins.
I bought this game during the Summer of 1984 at Lowes. The service was terrible. It took them 45 minutes to unlock the game case after I asked. This game isn't a very good driving game. I give it a 2.
