Synopsis: This game is a masterpiece in terms of every aspect of this kickass game. We'll start off with the graphics: Rare used advanced computer modeling for the graphics, so they are in 3D and they outdo everything else on the Super Nintendo. The graphics in this game even kick the crap out of the Saturn and Playstation. The only games with kickass visuals are DKC 2, DKC 3, and Super Mario RPG on the Super NES. The gameplay is the best part of the game, since there are lots of secrets in this game, which some are NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to get. There are many ways to get rid of the enemies: roll into them, jump on them, use the many helpers in the levels, and last but not least, toss barrels at them. The music is very good, and the same may be said for the sound effects used (bees buzzing, explosions, etc.). This is a great game since it got ported on the GB color and GB Advance. However, This is the best version of DKC so get this game now.
Best Cheats: Press these button combos for the cheats: Down,A,R,B,Y,Down,A,Y and the file erase for the sound test.
