Synopsis: The generic Nintendo-guy dons the mukluks and makes his way to the leaning tower of ice. (Hey, wait, didn't we already do this in stage 5 of the original Mario Brothers?)
This game, despite its simplicity, is a true CLASSIC. So classic, in fact, that there is no plot at all. Just a common goal to reach the top of the ice tower. This would be really easy if it wasn't for those GODDAMN BIRDS that keep flying into our heroes' heads.
Our heroes jump from ice brick to ice brick trying to reach the top. And when they reach the top, they are rewarded. How? WITH ANOTHER ICE LEVEL. Doesn't seem like much but when you are an Eskimo with lots of free time and a desire to stay out of the closet where my NES spends most of its time, YOU ARE VERY HAPPY. THANK YOU SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER LEVEL?
This is one of my favorites from back when NES was king, because I knew that any time I was really bored I could pop it in and just jump my little ass off. Nothing really involved or time-consuming about this one, just pure fun.
