Title: Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge (2nd Review)
Author:Ultra/Konami
Rom Player: NESticle
Reviewer: Game

Synopsis: Snake's Revenge is the American sequel to Metal Gear. In Japan, they got the real one on the MSX.
To those that don't know it, Ultra is Konami. The big N had a five-game-a-year rule, so Konami, having so many good games, made this company to get around it. I guess the director of the other Metal Gear games wasn't involved in this one. I still like it, though.

The graphics in this game are pretty much the same as the first. The subscreen where you get incoming transmissions is a little nicer looking and little upgrades are here and there.

The music is good, slow, and relaxed, then fast and nervous when your spotted.

Gameplay in this game is pretty much the same; You try to use stealth to get around fights, grab key cards, and fight bosses. They did throw some side-scrolling parts in, which weren't all that great.

Overall, I think this is a fun game that is treated unfairly by some.
