Title: Nosferatu
Author:Seta
Rom Player: ZSNES
Reviewer: ItalianStereotype

Synopsis: Nosferatu, a vampire game if you couldn't tell, is one of the better and most overlooked games on the SNES. You WILL ask yourself, "If this game is so good, why is it overlooked?" The answer is quite simple: many gamers look at this game, look at Castlevania and Prince of Persia, and take the more popular games. That's the reason, trendiness. Don't get me wrong; Castlevania and PoP are both excellent games, but not so much better to make gamers forget Nosferatu. One of the best things that can be said about this game is that it is "pretty," both graphics and music. The levels are quite detailed, and the enemies are all distinct and beautifully animated. The main character, Kyle, moves better than Trevor (Editor’s Note: That’s Simon, not Trevor, jackass) from Castlevania 4 and is a whole hell of a lot tougher (he fights with his bare fists). The story is bland and unoriginal: a vampire by the name of Nosferatu attacks a village to feast and steals your girlfriend, but when you think about, Castlevania's wasn't exactly great either. Gameplay is great, anybody who played PoP will be right at home. In this game, you don't get weapons, but you can work some stupid kung-fu looking shit. You can make your attacks stronger by picking up any 3 red crystals you find in the game, as well as picking up green crystals for health, blue crystals for max health increase, and hourglasses for time increases. One of the only problems with this game is the lack of a save feature, this game is insanely difficult on hard mode and dying becomes frustrating very quickly. This game is definitely great, and a good play if you love Castlevania or Prince of Persia.

Best Cheats: Max Health-During a game, do a spinning back kick by simultaneously pressing Away and Y, and pause the game. Then press Up, X, Right, A, Down, B, Left, Y.
