The only games I have for GC are MGS:TTS amd the Zelda Collerctors edition. I've beat the fuck out of TTS and Zelda is driving me bat shit insane. Are there any good (cheap) games I should pick up?

Viewtiful Joe, Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Resident Evil's, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion should all be around $30. Oh, and Metroid Prime too if you like FPS'.

Ignore James...
I strongly suggest getting these games:
Super Monkey Ball (1 and/or 2)
Ultimate Muscle: Kinnikuman Legacy
Super Mario Kart: Double Dash
Resident Evil (the original)
And yeah, I've heard nothing but good things about Viewtiful Joe, so that's another one I want to get when I have the chance.

You can't ignore me I'm a rock star.
I'm something something something on a cop car. Or something.
But seriously, I don't think any of the cheap games are worth getting. The last time I looked, they didn't have many "greatest hits" titles that were necessarily worth buying. So I don't know. Maybe just shell out the $50, or wait a couple more months for new price drops.

It's fun as hell. Extra fun if you can get 3 or 4 people over to play it with ya... all the mini party games in it rock.

Gamecubes are okay if you have lots of friends that also enjoy being nerds in denial.

oh yes! Me and two other friends played 50 rounds of 9 lap baby park races. Then we all cried about how we will never get laid.

Games I own for GC:
Wave Race - it's ok but not really worth it unless you are a huge fan of the N64 game.
Star Fox Adventures - Pretty good. Just your basic 3D adventure.
Super Mario Sunshine - I love it, even with the cheesiness. It's great Mario action that keeps its platforming roots in tact and is actually FUN. A dying concept.
Eternal Darkness - Possibly my favorite GC game. Really cool.
MGS: TTS - we all know about this one already
Zelda The Wind Waker - Despite all the negatives, it ends up being a enjoyable Zelda adventure. Just too short and easy.
F-Zero - It's good. Has a good range of difficulty and plenty to do with the garage.
Both Zelda Collections - AWESOME
Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Just got it yesterday actually so I don't know if lives up to my expectations. As long as it is better than STH, I'll be happy.
True Crime: Streets of LA - Very short but it was fun while it lasted. Now it's just good to go on Dogg Patrol or just to relive some scenes.
Metroid Prime - Great stuff. Metroid perfectly fused into a FPS.
I think that's all I have for GC.

Shit I forgot about that one, I played it and it was a lotta fun. Definitely worth getting. The latest Batman game is also a lot of fun, but I have to get a memory card for it so I can actually make some progress in the game.

I forgot to add FF:CC and Super Smash Brothers: Melee to my list.
FF:CC is pretty boring unless you constantly have people to play with along with additional GBAs. Lack of a real story was pretty stupid.
SSB:M is fun stuff. Gets boring alone like most fighters but it is quite the party game.

I haven't even played the GC Ikaruga, but I have a copy of it for my Dreamcast and it's one of the best shooters I've ever played. So yeah, that's another one worth picking up.

I'd be willing to say that AWL is the best installment of Harvest Moon yet. I got it the day it came out, and I'm far from disappointed :)

There's also going to be an ass load of good games coming out this year. Resident Evil 4, Paper Mario 2, Pikmin 2, Tales of Symphonia, the Megaman Aniversy Collection and Megaman X Command Mission are the ones you should keep an eye on.

I have the DC PAL import of Shenmue 2. It's cool with the Japanese dialogue and english subtitles. Makes it seem more authentic.

Is that one related to this one?
Yep, sure is. And it has a few super moves that are definitely questionable... all in glorious 3D!
The best thing about it, however, is that it has MR. BLOCKY (aka: Sunshine) in it and he turns into a couple of his different forms for certain moves. Kicks ass. It's soooo much fun with 3-4 players too.
