Heh, I was in the worst raiding group ever yesterday.
This group didn't function as a group, and ignored my tracking and the other hunter's tracking in favor of chasing a little level 30 around the corner into a ambush.

The most fun I had was when I was attacking a druid. Normally, I wouldn't be attacking by myself, but a 56 Warrior had shouted out that he would be following Maka. So I believed I was covered. I had aspect of the Cheetah on, and the druid was in travel form. I was jumping all around her, blasting her with stuns, scatter shot, viper stings, and everything else. It was hilarious. Until a 50 Paladin and another druid Druid (51) ran up. I thought I was still covered by our friend the 56 Warrior. But I wasn't. Without telling me, he decided to follow someone else. Bunch of faggity middleschoolers formed that raid :(

A Troll hunter, on the other hand, owned me the other day because A) I didn't use that trinket, B) She used viper sting to drain my mana and a paladin without mana is a really crappy warrior, and C) She feared me (see point A) into freezing traps twice.

A friend told me that his guild ran into arthas at the gates of stormwind. Supposedly, about once a week (no one's quite sure) arthas on his giant nightmare rides down from lordaeron, kills a few people at stormwind, laughs, and then rides off again. my mage got jumped by a warlock 2 levels higher than me in ashenvale last week and after running from him a bit i decided "fuck it" turned around and killed him with a quickness. i was shocked. it might have gone worse for me if he'd had an imp or succubus instead of a voidwalker tho. it was exciting.

That's why I love the warrior. I may be easy to kill from a distance, but get close to me and you're fucking dead! Hunters are my fav to fight cuz like mak said, when I get in range they can't touch me. First thing I do is hamstring so when they do wingclip, it's usless. Then I pound on them and keep hamstringing so they can't run.

The VW is pretty useless for PvP unless you are in melee range with a warrior or something. You can sacrifice it for a pretty decent shield that will take a few whacks to bring down. It's also good for surviving rogues, but usually the stun doesn't break before the shield gets removed.

The Upside to the Hunter is in PVP stand-offs. When both sides are in ragged lines facing each other.

Run up with cheetah, hit mana user with viper sting. Booyaaka, 800+ mana points gone in 8 seconds. So much chaos is going on, that most mana users don't notice. (mages).

Or, during a full out brawl, hunters never have to worry about AOE spells, for they can do damage from outside the attack area.

Or if you want to attack a group while hidden in the bush while the group is fighting MOBS. It takes them awhile to realize that someone else across the screen is blasting your face. Arrows ain't as easy to track as Magic Powers.

LOL, if that warlock sac'd his VW while fighting a mage, he's a retard. The VW shield is only for physical attacks. Spells go right through it and you can still be interrupted and stuff with it on (which is lame).

BTW, we should form a federation of smaller guilds. Call it "The Axis of the Horde". Create our own Website where dozens of smaller guilds can come together. Create a chat channel in game. "Axis Chat" Yay. That way, when needed, we will have enough higher end game charachters and levels.

There have already been a few talks about mini alliances on the LS forums. I'll search around and try to find the names of a few for some instance runs or something. We'll have to be on good behaviour so that we don't get blacklisted, though. ;)

Ogre also booted out one of Ziggy's friends for no apparent reason, and then Ziggy left, too. I suspect that Ogre was high at the time and/or was pissed off that he didn't get a certain item or something. Either way it was no excuse, although it's partly my fault for leaving kicking permissions on some of the ranks. I'll be revamping the rank system so that there's more than just me who can kick people, but still keep it to a small number of people.

I experiece an immense amount of lag in high-traffic areas. Orgrimmar during busy hours can be a slideshow of one picture every 2 minutes for a good 8-10 minutes before settling in. Any instances where a raid is taking place, it's even worse. And my game just suffers from lag unless I restart my computer to start "fresh" on my resources.

In all seriousness, what would you say is the worst off? I think my processor is too slow for WoW, but maybe I just need more memory? My video card should be more than fine, especially if I don't turn all the bells and whistles on in the game.

Also, I need a new computer anyway. My monitor is starting to act up and will probably die. And to buy a new monitor costs about 1/4 to 1/2 a new Dell system.

Yeah I did that when I got the game. It's fine. The only thing that you'll need to do is patch. The rest of it's stored on the WoW database.

Yeah, James, you're best with going for an entirely new system. WoW is a big memory hog, but just adding more RAM isn't going to make it go much faster for a game like this with an old processor. The video card shouldn't make much difference if you're running it on all the lowest settings, but a new system comes with one, so what the hell. ;)

You won't have any problems installing it like Volsh said. Your CD key is attached to your account, not your copy of WoW. You could go to someone else's computer, install WoW and play from there if you wanted and it would work fine.

K i got a cool story.

I was traveling in Alterac looking for more iron to claim when suddenly a paladin caught my eye. Without hesitation I rushed him, causing him to run. I slashed his hamstring making it difficult for the fool to escape. He kept casting a magic shield on himself but I knew he would run out of mana eventually. Finally he had no choice and tried to use his hearthstone to escape. He didn't. I slaughtered him right then and there, without taking one shot to my body. It was a flawless battle, Thrall would be proud. I bathed in his blood, but I knew his spirit would return soon. So I stood way back and hid in the hills. I used my spyglass to keep watch on him. To my surprise he would not let his spirit free from his body and soon after, another paladin came about and attempted to resurrect him. Just as his incantations were about to finish, I charged him and knocked him dizzy. This one had some fight in him but he was no match for the blood soaked nightmare that was my blade. I cut down him where he stood and watched him fall before my feet. I let out a primal scream and the battle ended. A while later their spirits returned to their bodies. I knew my limits and could not take them both at once. The cowards used their hearthstones to flee. They knew they were no match for the bloody rage of the Horde.

The first guy was 37 and the second was 39. It was very satisfying

Attempts to glorify this thread? I don't seem to recall singing this thread's praises, merely pointing out that I don't give a flip if Chojin finds it entertaining. I'll merely continue to post in it infrequently, as I have been all along, and keep it as boring for him as possible. It's what Leroy Jenkins would want me to do.

I hit level 54 last night and finished Zul Farrak. I was the only one with the mallet to hit the gong for Gahzrilla and everyone was all "hit the gong hit the gong hit the gong" so I did and after we killed Gahzrilla, the priest was all like "why'd you hit the gong when I was out of mana?"

Your fearless leader and Kieto went to Un'goro Crater last night for questing and Alliance killing. Some fag 52 NE hunter ganked both of us while we were separated, so we camped her body for several kills. At one point, three more Alliance showed up (56 priest, 51 paladin and 60 rogue) but we were able to kill 3/4 of them before dying ourselves! >:

The rogue completely ignored me until it was too late. I hit him for 500, 600 and then 450 damage in a row as he was running towards me and he went down like a little bitch.

We decided to ride around and kill more plants afterwards. It was then that I was griefed by the infamous DEVILSAUR. :chatter

It snuck up on me four fucking times! We'd be killing a plant and then suddenly a giant foot would squash me. Fortunately my imp sacrificed himself to draw attention away from me.

Fear works to an extent, but it breaks a lot and is no good against other players as long as they're ranked Grunt or higher. Or a warrior who knows what he's doing. Or a blacksmith. :(

The VW sacrifice is nice, though. Unless you're fighting stuff that hits for more than 1000 damage or a spellcaster.

They basically pave the path for the person running the flag back with grounding totems and we haven't a chance in hell of catching them, unless we're fortunate enough to have a hunter drop a freeze trap or a druid get close enough to root. I haven't been to Stratholme yet. I'm level 55 now, so it won't be long, though. Kieto, Beasttracker and myself are starting to venture into the high level areas. Mak comes along when he's online, too.

There's lots of towers in the game. Ethel Rethor in Desolace sounds like that, but there's no fog around it. I haven't been to Felwood or Winterspring yet, so they might be there.

Yeah, I heard the Alliance queue was huge on LS, but Horde were getting in as long as it took to gather 40 people. I'll be trying one of them out tonight for a bit. You should all come and play Horde with us. :(

BTW, I hope you're not one of those paladins that rides into a group of Horde, drops consecration, runs away with your bubble on and then acts like they get a ton of contribution points. I hate those homos. >:
