But i had no proof.... until yesterday.... and go to a macdonals if u dont believe me. A SOUBLE CHEESEBUrGER IS MORE THAN A REGLAR CHEESEBURGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BY LIKE 20 CENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate McDonalds with so much fury I could pass out. So many unhealthy people I know who try to follow a healthy diet in the unlikely hope that they will lose weight because they falter and go to McDonalds 'for a treat', FOR A TREAT?!!! Why for the love of all that is good in the world could anyone think that eating in that cess-pit of human depravity is a treat? It's not food, it's filler.

What is wrong with folk that they think eating flavoured dung is somehow pleasurable? What went wrong? What happened to flavour, texture and just the sheer joy or eating food. These people just wolf that shite down their throats without it touching the sides and then say 'Ooh, I could just eat another'. And then they moan that they're fat.

Mind control indeed. People I used to consider bright and decent actually take their children to that place. WHY?! 'Ooh little Johnny, if ya do ya homework you can be fed offal mushed in lard with heaps of sugar and salt, served in lashings of day-glo chemical sauce. Smashing, why don't you just stick your kids heads down a sewer and be done? What decent parent thinks they're feeding young minds let alone bodies in a productive and loving manner? This is cruelty. Why don't they just reward their kids with alcohol and cigarettes and give up all hope of an enjoyable life for their offspring? Bastards.

MarioRPG

What's worse is parents that think this is a decent meal. Far too many.

Bod
Feb 6th, 2006, 06:20 PM
I have a friend in Milwaukee who's a manager of a pizza hut. She actually gets parents phoning up and bitching because the pizza delivery is late. They try to lay on a guilt trip that their kids are starving waiting for said food. Jesus Christ, how dare they attempt to make anyone else feel guilty cos they aren't capable of cooking a meal (let alone a healthy meal) for their kids. So many people should be spayed. Apparently these are some of the most regular customers. Not that pizza hut is anyway near as bad as McDonald's, but it's still junk.

MarioRPG
Feb 6th, 2006, 06:24 PM
Yeah, it's not like it's fair for someone that is a lazy/incompetent (pick one) parent to blame someone else for not making an effort. :/

MLE
Feb 6th, 2006, 06:26 PM
i'm not saying the food isn't crap, but they are paying for that service. it's their right as a customer to lodge a complaint where they see fit. that's just how company to client goes regardless of how bad the product is.

MarioRPG
Feb 6th, 2006, 06:29 PM

Bod
Feb 6th, 2006, 06:32 PM
I don't doubt that the delivery should turn up on time. And that a customer has a right to complain about tardiness. By all means make the staff feel guilty for being piss-poor at their jobs, but don't dare try to lay on the guilt 'because of the children', when they as parents should be feeling far more guilt.

I can only make presumptions that like many Americans and Europeans that your palette has been ruined by a lifetime of too much junk. It's not impossible to stay slim on such a diet, especially if still young. But if one lives entirely on this crap, obesity is only one small side effect. My lodger is skinny and hasn't met a vegetable that wasn't on a pizza in her entire lifetime. She's very sluggish though, inactive, low concentration span and not very bright. I don't blame this all on junk, but it's a key factor of a shit lifestyle.

McDonalds is a conspiracy.. one vaster than we'll ever know. They have a top-secret underground base where Ronald lives. Its from here that he plots world-domination. Mayor McCheese is only a figure-head, a yes-man bought and sold by the Machivellian Ronald. The Ham-Burglar is actually an assassin sent out by Ronald to murder anyone who gets in his way. Grimace is not actually one person, but the name of a new species genetically-engineered in the underground lab. They have entire pastures full of grazing Grimaces down there, they are like cattle, and they are the source of the meat in McDonald's food. Birdy is just the hyper-active and spastically moronic product of eating too much Grimace meat.

(that was actually to be the plot of my second hack, it was going to be of McDonaldland, but when i discovered the text to be compressed in that ROM i made Little Remo instead.)

I used the example "crack" as in that's how bad some people's addiction with fast food get's (and that's sad) as i can remember i never really liked fast food much as a kid myself beside's pizza. but .99 cent double cheese burger's do make it an easier solution for lunch (and snack) not to mention wendy's dollar menu. and there lies the problem because when they were still 1.79 a few year's ago i would have had to have an urge for a Mcdonald's double cheese burger because i would have just gone to burger king anyway's :)

Oh yeah, that movie was mind-blowing. Before it came out, I had no idea that fast food was unhealthy. I was disappointed to learn that the creator has less success with his follow-up film, "Smokescreen", in which he shows that smoking can be hazardous to your help. Still, I have high hopes for his next film "Shocking!", in which he shows audiences the dangers of sticking a fork in an electrical outlet.

Good food is not and should not be addictive! Come on, have you never been to a decent restaurant where you had a real good meal? I'm sure you didn't feel the need to eat more and more of it only hours afterwards. Fast food is addictived not due to the taste but the high sugar and salt contents.

The problem is that food, literally, forms addictions. So if you've been eating double cheeseburgers, you're going to want to continue. Of course, the industry plays off of this, but there is healthy fast food out there for those who look for it.

There are some things I just can't eat anymore. Many sodas I used to drink all the time now feel like burning acid going down my throat. Certain deserts are just too rich for me to handle. Quite a few brands of fries just lack any taste beyond grease. It kinda sickens me to think about my old eating habits.

I'm not saying McDonalds is good food, I'm saying that sugar and salt are tasty to people. You use them to season good food, but too much is definately bad. White powders, y'know.

Also, Chinese restaurants have good food and people get hungry for it an hour later. But I guess that doesn't work for the argument if you just eat sweet and sour stuff and egg rolls(sugar and salt!) but what about stuff like mushrooms and sushi?
