Was I not playing a character? Hello? Do you actually think my name is Nose in real life? No. I just felt the need to step in and actually be myself, something I haven't gotten a chance to do yet because everyone won't stop jumping on me.

1. I'm a real person who is actually trying to get somewhere in life. I'm not a troll. I make music and art and I'm trying figure out a way to show people who aren't rich, how to record music and do animation. Those are my two only goals in life at this point, and it seems that these things are jealously guarded by the wealthy companies and consumers in this country, if not the world over.

2. I am autistic. I either have no social filter, or I don't understand certain simpler concepts, but I have no trouble with coming up with ways of doing things that no one has thought of yet, so that should make me not totally worthless. I haven't yet figured out how I can be valuable to this board, and I will eventually give up trying if everyone just keeps putting me down for my efforts, but I just want to put it out there that I will try to do right by you all.

3. I work nights and absolutely hate the way it screws up my life. I also live in a ghetto in bumfuck Hillsboro, Oregon. Living and working around ignorant jerks and homeless criminals has angered me a little bit towards human life in general. I want to be happy and a productive member of society, though. Maybe when there is nothing left to believe in, I'll go to church. Money, sex, and crime can't be all there is to life. I'm always searching for a greater purpose for being alive.

4. I don't want to be anywhere that I am hated. If this is the case, I will leave. Just as all of you have feelings, so do I, and the internet does not negate that fact; it simply overshadows it.

I apologize for being disruptive, and I think I will just lurk for now at least, until I figure out what I'm doing here, and what I want to learn from the experience.

If any of you took the time to read all this, thank you. I appreciate being noticed occasionally while I am roundly ignored the rest of the time, often to the point that I want to scream.

As far as why I posted this thread in the Mock Wars... That was the irony that you guys were speaking of earlier. In truth, however, I actually meant to post this in the General Forum.

PS: "Nose" is a reference to a columnist who goes by that moniker in The Stranger, an alternative free publication in Seattle.

No, but Las Vegas doesn't like it when I do the card counting trick. It's probably because I do it out loud, though. :P

My "super power", or whatever, has to do with music. I can hear a song from start to finish, even one instrument at a time, before it's recorded. Some of my oldest songs never got past the drawing board stage, and I can still recall them, including the lyrics. I can also play a song by ear, even if I've only heard it a couple times. I'd give anything to just be normal though. I would trade this for a life of hetersexuality any day. (I'm ineffable, like it says in your sig).
I'm also really shy, and don't like a lot of attention--it freaks me out, and right now, I'm doing all these music projects for films and stuff, and I just want the songs to stand on their own, but it looks like fame, or whatever, is creeping up on me, and that's the last thing I would ever want.

Kraut, I went from Prog Shooter to this nick. To be honest, Prog Shooter was kind of not reflecting on what I'm up to. I had the name because I was into stopmotion using webcams, but now I have a miniDV camera, and the quality is way better. It also appears that a lot of other animators are using these things, and there's software devoted specifically for that purpose.

I would never hang out on a political forum. :/

Not a lot of people are aggressive here, Nose. This isn't a flame board and the only reason you got 'jumped on' is that you were doing your best to be a flamboyant jackass on your arrival. It's not a contest here, just relax and don't take anything seriously; Being over-sensitive is the only thing that will make people pick on you more than being belligerent, and that applies to life in general moreso than this forum.
