Well, I am at the stage in my life where I must break free from the drudgery of dead-end jobs. Today, I head to Seattle to take the ASVAB and MEPS and join the Coast Guard pending acceptance.

Huzzah.

Well... yep, that is what I shall be doing.

It's true so we should be happy for Damn That David. The female to male ratio is much higher. The downside is that they are all lesbian and tend to bunk together, if'n you get my drift.

Congrats though, DTD!

Join the Peace Corps and be somebody!

Did they get you like in Starship Troopers with

"Are You Doing Your Part?"

Nothing beats the MEPS physical. It's weird when you actually think aobut it but the main physician at the MEPS in Minneapolis has worked there for like 25 years, so that means that in all likelyhood he's seen nearly every single anus of each troop that has came through there.

The coast guard normally sees the most action out of any service when its not wartime.

Edit, I don't know why I said that, I just wanted people to see me.

Your just bitter cause they didn't let you in.

Passed with flying colors. But damn, after holding in the piss for 5 hours waiting for the god damn urine test, I couldn't piss when I needed to. Half the guys couldn't... so we all stood at our seperate urinals, holding our dicks, and making small talk..

"So, come here often?"

"Dead lord, let my pee flow like the mighty mississippi"

or, after we finally managed to fill the cups.

"down the hatch boys! Cheers!"

You shoudl try and muscle your way in to have somethign to do with mechanical skills, so if you ever leave you have some good practical skills.

Not really.

Oh, and I found out that my score is 91%

which translates to me being smarter then 91% of the people who take that test, with only 8% above me. That can get me into any job, stationed almost anywhere I want. From Hawaii to San Diego, the Florida Keys to Alaska.

Or Cannon Beach/Astoria/Seaside, Oregon.
Which is where I wanted to be.

I felt cheated on my ASVAB because my lowest score was on the timed basic arithmetic, and that was not because I'm slow at math but because I take forever to fill in choice bubbles. Seriously, I spend way longer than everyone else in filling out my name and such because I'm compulsive like that. I got a score that placed me among common mortals. I felt dirty.

Grats. My dad was in the Navy for 20 years and hated pretty much half of those years. Have fun!

I've scored in 99% percentile on every standardized test I've ever taken, but I have yet to take this one. Is it simmilar to other basic math and verbal and whatnot tests?

Also my penis is big and veiny but ladies say it only hurts for a second but then feels real good I have sexed 400 people all of them but 3 wanted to.

Seriously though, I need to take this test if its different.

The ASVAB has lots of questions where you look at a pulley system or something like that and given the direction of rotation you have to figure out what belts are going where. Then they see how many single-digit multiplication problems you can do, how many double-digit addition problems you can do, et cetera, within a timed period. I think it'd be pretty embarrassing to actually answer any question wrongly, it's just a question of how far you get in the battery sections. From this they decided that I should be a nuclear engineer in a submarine. (Yes, I DID lose the letter from my uncle promising me my own submarine.)

Ugh, I took the ASVAB in high school and got something ridiculous like 97%. I didn't believe that it was accurate, but I've since been working in retail.

It took a lot of maturing and emotional pain to realize that the test was probably right. :<

Aye, the test is easy. Super easy while in Highschool and still have required math to take. But I'm a math retard.

I felt that after 3 years of not looking at a math problem, and trying to drag up the formula's from my resisting brain, that I did damn good. (I acutally did better in highschool, but the test is only good for a year or two)

Hell, the only reason I passed math in the first place is I copied off of Supa, tests, homework and all.
