I pre-ordered it a while back and those dicks won't even send me an early access code. So I gotta wait til it comes out to play it. I hope they send me a beta invite so I at least get the controls down and memorize the early game before it comes out.

I wanted to be a trooper, but no idea if they have that on the imperial side. I don't want to be a bounty hunter, I now that. Just because all the bounty hunters I knew in starwars galaxies were real dicks (pre nge). I just wanted to get as close to rifleman as I could since that's what I was in starwars galaxies.

In all honesty, this game will probably be my way of passing the time til guild wars 2 comes out. I really don't want that to be the case. I hope it's really good so it isn't. But I think that may be what happens.

Star Wars Galaxies died for me the day I could no longer be a creature handling mayor of a town who was a master rifleman. It was the ultimate sandbox mmo game for me.

Yeah I'm just not seeing how its any more shitty than WoW. If anything the different classes and the eventual addition of space combat mean out will be adding fun to what is basically the same game.

There will be something to saying it is as shitty as WoW. But that is because what makes WoW shitty is the player population having way more douche bags than any other MMO, it is likely when the game goes live most/all of those douche bags will migrate over making the experience very WoW like

Yeah, on LOTRO there are a lot more helpful people than douches. I wish I could go back, but I don't have the time at the moment. I think the old republic is doing right releasing around late december. No games will be coming out and it'll be more time to play it.

In an effort to keep each side balanced bla bla bla.... They are kind of different. You wont see jedi running around using lightning or choking anyone. :\

Yeah Im pretty sure I am going sith juggernaut. The assassin is supposed to be a cool tank though, Im kind of tempted.

sith have sith assassins, jedis have jedi shadows. both can stealth, deal damage and tank.

The only reason Im even giving it a try is Mase has a friend with a supposedly good guild. So I thought I would check it out. If it totally sucks balls, Im switching back. They were saying that you are not even exposed to pvp until mid 30s or some shit. Also, I can always flag myself for pvp and its basically the same. Not to mention warzones and that pvp planet and so on.

The only difference between pve vs pvp is on pvp it auto flags you. I plan on walking around flagged 90% of the time.

Of course this is probably just hear say, but it is definitely an issue for most servers at the moment and they will definitely be doing something about it.
