Magic: The Gathering

Anyone play? As a little kid (8-12) I used to collect these cards but never knew how to play.

Recently I busted my old cards out of my moms attic and learned how and it's fucking amazing.

I suggest buying a pre-made intro deck instead of trying to build your own from booster packs.

I feel like someone here has to be as nerdy as me or nerdier. Any thoughts on certain decks, expansions, or any rare cards?

I used to play but the only friend I played with moved away so I haven't played in years. It was the shit though, that much I remember. Now they have indestructible monsters and shit, so I would just get my ass completely whupped if I even attempted to play with my oldy moldy cards.

Fun game though, forreals. I remember playing magic online, that was pretty cool too.

I still have my deck from 4th edition. Its probably not even the same game anymore.

I've got a nice box full of cards. Ranging from Ice to Arabian. Maybe even further than Ice but my main cards are from Dark.

Fuck. Do they still make these? There used to be a rather good PC game where you could build your own deck and play people online. Red speed decks are where its at.

Some Canadian dude convinced me to go to his house and play him. I used some "sliver" cards or something and I beat him once. I think he let me win, because after that he beat me five or so times in a row, and always asked me to play him from then on.

I hated playing it. It was boring and stupid.

There is not a better combination than magic and weed. I made a green and red speed deck, it's pretty broo-tal. Also trading cards is pretty fun. Those card shops just have seas of writhing nerds just waiting to trade you a Harvester of Souls for a Vexing Devil.

I have the nastiest red-green deck. Sarkhon vol out the ass with some hydras and rosheens. Let's just say 30/30's all day son.
