Here's a classic flick that some of you may have seen featured on MST3K before.
NEW GREATEST HORROR MOMENT: "THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE!" -by Protoclown http://www.i-mockery.com/halloween/g...wouldntdie.php Enjoy! |
We were just talking about this on one of the forum threads. I had heard of this film but had never actually watched it until recently. Man, it is so bad it's awesome. The film has fallen into public domain, is available in those '20 Hours' of Sci-Fi compilations and you can even watch it online on Google video.
On a side note, Rog, have you ever seen 'The Mutations', sometimes called 'The Freakmaker'? I think it may make a fine Halloween induction. It stars Donald Pleasence as a mad scientist and Dr. Who's Tom Baker as a deformed psychopath. Not to mention a bunch of authentic human oddities. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Wz5SKcPeSo The trailer, in classic exploitation/grindhouse style, gives away everything. Ample shots of the shitty monster, reveals all the shocking moments and even hints at the ending. |
I love Donald Pleasance!

"Be quiet, stupid pan woman!"
One of the funniest MST3K's I've seen. And that Mutations movie looks funny. |

Prince of Darkness is the bomb. It's a Halloween tradition.

I don't get what the bitch's problem was.

She got sick of the swim cap.

Weren't this movie and "The Re-animator" based off the same story?
|
Hell no. The only thing they have in common is a living head in a pan. Re-Animator is based on Lovecraft's Herbert West, Re-Animator.
|
The reanimator movies were fun.
Back when I was in a comedy group, I used to do Donald Pleasance as a character. No one ever knew who he was. Bastards. DP did some very serious acting on the British stage, some of ehich made it on to film. They made a killer movie of Harold Pinters "The Caretaker" which he was in. Anybody seen it? Alan Bates was in it too. |
Pyoomaman! :eek
