After a lot
of work (and procrastination) the I-Mockery "Club" is finally here. I
don't know anybody that doesn't like getting fun stuff sent to them in the
mail, and that's just what this club is for. Hundreds of you took the
club-poll and
told me that you really liked the idea, so I'm going to give it a shot. If
all goes well, I'm going to do my best to have a new club pack out each
month (or every other month, whatever works best). If the first month
works out nicely, I'll have subscriptions available later on.
For those of you new to
the site or if this is your first time hearing about the club, allow me
to explain. I'm really against trying to support my site with an absurd
amount of ads. I don't mind a little advertising to support it, but I
can't stand it when I go to a site that has four advertisements pop-up
on your screen each time you view a different page, in addition to all
of the ads that they already have embedded within it. And I'm definitely
against the idea of charging for access to a site that has always been
free, fuck that. Well, I-Mockery has grown leaps and bounds in the past
year, and I really want to dedicate all of my time to it. So, to help
offset the costs of running the site (and paying my rent), I figured I'd
try to offer something fun to everybody... rather than just plaster the
site with an absurd amount of advertisements.
The I-Mockery "Club" is
what I've decided to do. The club packs will come with all sorts of
goodies. Buttons, toy surprises, stickers... who knows what. Plus, in
each club pack you'll get a Newsletter with all sorts of humorous tidbits
in it, including comics, drawings, viewer mail, some great little
stories that I have to share, and much more. All that good stuff comes
to you in the mail for 5 bucks, not too shabby eh? Plus, the proceeds
from the club will also help me create some more cool contests here on
the site for all to enjoy.

it's because of all the positive feedback that I received from you that
I'm giving this thing a shot. Looking forward to hearing back from all
