In Soviet Canada, there is about a month to a month and a half of campaigning. The way it works is after 4 or 5 years in office, the PM will call an election. The election is about a month to a month and a half after he calls it. Therefore, there is about a month to a month and a half of campaigning, not 9 months like in America. Suck it, Americans. |

OH MY FUCKING GOD! On NPR: Morning Edition today, I heard something that disturbed me beyond measurable means. The actual presidential elections start on the first Tuesday of November, which this year is the 2nd, right? (learned this on the radio) Guess when the campaign ads start? ->March 3rd<-  I'm going to have to keep the TV off from here to December! Why do they start so fucking early?!? And they're always either making the other person look like a complete idiot, i.e., Vinth, or giving us 'information' without any actual information in it. Again, i.e., Vinth. Come to think of it, he'd fit right in. Anyone got their opinion on this? And will Vinth drag his lazy ass in here and try ONCE AGAIN to prove he's the only one who knows anything, only to prove to us ONCE AGAIN that his I.Q. hovers in the mid-twenties? |
