Cosmo Electrolux | I'm pretty fond of my Fernandes Monterey...plays great, but I need to replace the cheesy pickups with something a little beefier... |

Hey, I used to have a six string bass! I had enough dexterity to handle it. ![]() I eventually got sick of it though. The reason I pickuped bass because I wanted to play bass. ![]() ![]() My dad has a guild f4 12-string and an F50r. Such beautiful sounding guitars. He says he would never play anything but a guild(he doesn't play electric), I don't blame him. |

Best guitars Okay, the bass players have their own thread, so it's only fair that there's a thread for those of us with the dexterity to handle six strings instead of four or five. ![]() ![]() My number one guitar: THE CULPRIT ![]() The pickups are basically high gain melt-your-face-off-and-don't-talk-to-me-about-tone-quality, but they do the high gain thing damn well, and for an instrument that only set me back $600 used, it's got great action and hardware. It'll really be a mean axe once I get some Seymour Duncans for it. What I really want is a custom neck-thru PRS. I played a couple of store models at Guitar Center last time I was there, and they beat every other guitar I've seen in terms of playability. |
