Well, he is my parents dog since I'm leaving home in t-minus 15 days. Unfotunatly our house and backyard are modest, but my mom's hobby is this dog, so she is going to take him to the dog park religiously. FYI, his name is Dylan and, he is going to be gigantic. Wow. |

shepherd mix - with anything sturdier / with a larger muzzle and head. Colouring does not necessarily involve any black & tan breed (rottweiler f.i.) as it's present in the german shepherd genepool (hidden by the sable pattern). from what I know. probabilities are in favor of shepherd x lab cross. |

he looks like a lab/shepard mix. He needs some new socks for those big paws. |

| kellychaos | The coloring looks right for a rottweiler but the snout is too long and narrow and the build isn't right for a full rottweiler/mastiff type dog. A mix would have been my guess too. On the practical side, though, I hope you have a large house. By the looks of those paws, he/she (?) is going to grow up to be one large monster of a dawg. | |

and he will have a puppy brain for at least another year. i hope you have lots of energy! i was thinkin chow by the tongue, but the rest of it doesn't look like a chow to me. this site says sheps and rotts can have spots on their tongues - so maybe he's not part chow after all. Quote:

Yep, Ziggy's right. But we think he might be part Chow because of his tongue. He's 10 months so not exactly a puppy, but you know... |

renee's doggie looks like a german shepherd mix. maybe part rottweiler too? two very smart breeds - should be a smart, active doggie. |

| Supafly345 | The spots left his back and moved to his tongue. I am sure he smells terrible. | |
