The polka dot one is just for the original pikmin. The dots change color from red/yellow/blue. you toss one in there and 9 pikmin of the color that it landed in pop out. Sublevel 10 of the Dream Den (last place) almost made me break my gamecube in rage.

I beat it  The final boss reminds me of Metroid Prime. There's a lot of references to other nintendo games in it. :o |

i played it today, and it's a billion times better than the first game im just not into that kind of game but it's fun so go out and buy it if you even remotely liked the first one |

| Drev | No. I new concept is introduced in 2: Transforming flowers. There's flowers that come in different colors. The first one you find is a purple one. All you do is throw a pikmin that's a different color, and the flower will spit back out a pikmin seed of the flowers color (though if you put a flower pikmin it, it'll still com out as a leaf). There, purple, white, blue, red, yellow, and a polka-dotted one that changes color. | ||

I absolutely looooved the first one. But I spent all of my money on Silent Hill 4 this week, so I gotta wait to buy Pikmin2. They're so damn cute!!! Buy this for me!

I got Pikmin 2 also. The graphics have pretty much stayed the same with some enhanced visuals for water and dust. We do get the CG cutscenese thou which is nice. It's a great game overall. I just got the yellow Pikmin and now working on getting the blue ones. The Multiplayer Battle is also very fun. Havn't unlocked 2 player challenge mode yet thou .
