Re: Saying no to a girl Quote:
I really recommend you to tell this into her face "Hey! I want you to meet someone. His name is -RoG-. He likes to mock pop culture whenever he has his grubby hands on! He's the coolest guy in the world! Don't you wanna meet him? Aren't you interested? -Rog- is unique among any men, even me-in this world! Hey, did I mention that he has a website? Actually, he had this secret organization with Pickleman. Know Pickleman?... He's a great guy I tell ya!'" |

Well you felt it so it doesn't make you a cunt to be truthful about it. If you went and told that to her face though, likeso: - Hey, about that other time? Do you still uh, you know, are you still interested? - Uh, oh god! I guess, umm... yeah. What, are you? - No. Fuck you. Bitch. That'd make a bit of a cunt. You'd be one of my favourite people ever, though. |

She moved on pretty quickly, and I feel not that irresistable anymore. I probably would have enjoyed turning her down again. Does that make me a cunt? |

Terra | Cappuccinos=too heavy. Better sex with a latte. It's lighter and without strings attached.

Command Prompt | Lattes suck. Cappacinnos or whatever are so much better

Terra | Only if he wants to whip things up again and get laid. She'll be a sucker for a mocha latte.

AChimp | You might have to whip out the chocolate mousse or the mocha latte.

If she really wants you, be ready to turn her down nicely a few times more, though. She doesn't want to be your friend, probably, and it will show and become increasingly difficult for her and eventually for you. |

AChimp | Good. A vanilla slice is just the kind of harsh that I was talking about. She hates you now, man. You're in the clear.

Congratulations Zhukov. I know it's hard to handle touchy situations like that and I'm glad you guys worked it out. |

The hard part was bringing it up, then I told her I was already after someone else, and being more than friends with her would feel like she was some kind of cop out. I don't want that because I respect her, and don't feel the need to have sex with her and I want to be friends. She was ok about it and we hung out and it was all ok. Special thanks Cosmo Eletrolux. |

kelly, I don't think that just because someone can say stupid things, you can't be friends with them. My dad sometimes says stuff that makes me curl my toes, but I still love 'im. HAHA YES TERRA IN THAT WAY |

the[Hitman] | Just explain to her that in your communist regime, you would rather have her in the harem than beside you.

Ihach | chimp, that seems like the worst idea ever, especially since he wants to stay friends

Cosmo Electrolux | no way, man...he wants to stay friends.
Sep 30th, 2004 12:26 PM | ||
AChimp | It's gotta be harsh right off the bat. Bite her head off and she'll never like you again. It will be painful for her at first, but better for her in the long run because she won't be pining for you.
Sep 30th, 2004 12:10 PM | ||
Cosmo Electrolux | how would YOU like to be turned down? I think I would prefer the truth.....and a beer....maybe buy her a beer.....

Explaining my position sounds like a good idea. I am in a bit of a position at the moment. Cheers. |

Sep 30th, 2004 10:09 AM | ||
Cosmo Electrolux | Just ask her about her intentions and explain your position. I think that being up front and honest works best.

I don't want to drive her away, because I like her as a friend, but I talked politics anyway. I haven't known her for too long, so she doesn't know my leanings. When I brought up that I was a communist she said it was "Cute". She seems very apathetic towards politics and she agreed with everything I said. You are all very hilarious, so maybe some real help would be good. |
