sitting in with some blues masters.

tonight i had the opportunity to see the matt hill band. matt is a nineteen-year-old blues prodigy who belts out howling wolf like he's possessed. max drake, who's a regular member of big bill morganfield's (aka muddy waters' son) band, sat in on (awesome as usual) guitar, and big bump klinefelter did the same on bass. it was excellent. blues at its finest. and, even though they were ready to quit, they played a song for me to sing at the very end: "stormy monday." i feel very privileged indeed. yay!
