Okay, A.) "Robertson donates money, just as anyone may, and in no way has ever run for an office as a RNC candidate. " -Klusterfuk, a couple of days ago. He ran for President, doofus! -Me, in response. You didn't know, did you? Why not just admit that you were spewing a fine mist of salty krill out your blowhole as opposed to thinking? and, B.) I thought what Hillary said about the House being a Plantation was horrible. Really undignified. Not at all like the time that Newt Ginrich dramatically and cogently compared the House to a plantation. Uhm... lesseee now... run by rich white males... everybody gets told what to do by the boss... fierce reprisals for those who don't obey... sounds more like Walmart to me, but I guess I don't really care that much since I don't think very highly of Clinton or Ginrich. Huh. How 'bout that, boss? |

the Plantation bit? Aw, it was on so many other boards I am on -- I am surprised I did not bring it up here. I think I was still obsessed with other topics at that venture. Sen Clinton's words certainly were embarassing and unprofessional. I was a bit outraged at it, and those words should have been exploited more by the right wing. I do say that Nagin should still be held culpable, and that we should divorce ourselves of Robertson more. He stumbles over his words too much and has made terrible blunders lately. |

I'm frankly surprised you haven't gone off on what Sen. Clinton said. It's much more embarassing than what Nagin said, for several reasons. |

Who has Pat Robertson groomed to be some sort of major political official? BTW, I condemn the idea that one would rule form a religiously fundamentalist perspective in a free nation. And I am sure if Nagin had his own television show, it would rival Robertson's for idiocy; this is not the first time he has made dope-ish remarks of this nature. |

but seriously God is pissed right now, and the only way he can show us is by giving people strokes and destroying new orleans. He's alot more subtle than he used to be... |

Check out the Robertson School of Governement-- http://www.regent.edu/acad/schgov/ The Christian Coalition played a KEY role in finally locking up the South for the GOP. The Republican Party might not control the House today had Pat Robertson not ran for president and compiled a database of voters/donors. Do you think holding office is the only way people have political influence? Has Karl Rove ever held elected national office? What about George Soros??? Quote:
Pat Robertson says stupid things ALL THE TIME, on television! Quote:

"Robertson donates money, just as anyone may, and in no way has ever run for an office as a RNC candidate. " -Klusterfuk, a couple of days ago. He ran for President, doofus! -Me, in response. "Pat Robertson did not win the nomination of the Republican Party, so he has never been a Republican representative in any sense of the word. " -Klusterfuk, changing his tune HAH, Plaid Toes! You lose at the internet! And you were wrong and now you hide like a coward from your wrongness like the New York Times making a cowardly hiding correction! "If Pat Robertson were to ever be a candidate, he could not speak on such a religious supremacy terms as he does and paint things so utterly black and white with his concepts; he is unfit to be an elected official with comments that are of such personal conviction. " -Klusterfuk AAAARGH! YOU ARE MAKING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE SCREAM IN PAIN!!! If Klusterfuk were to ever be a pundit, he could not write on such a punk supremacy terms as he does! Must you paint things so utterly black and white with your concepts? Stop! Stop all this painting with your concepts! While I may embrace some of your ideas as parts of mine, they are deffinitely not the entirety of it! And when the RNC strips Robertson of membership in the party or at least makes a condemnation (or as we like to say in human land 'condems') him for his remarks, I say Nagin now and forever as he is truly by being mayor of New rleans a representation not of a part of the party of the DNC but the whole party! All liberals is Nagin! And while part of you is a Kunt, I do not Konfuse your Parts with your Party! |

(1) Pat Robertson is not in any way serving the party; he preaches to a segment of th eparty. Do not confuse a part with the party. (2) The DNC does not even bother to censure its' own members who are making ridiculous comments, and the DNC could have easily stripped Nagin of his right to be a member of their party for saying such stupid things... But instead, the sound of crickets. I'd at least expect a condemnation. |

John McCain doesn't speak for an ideological majority either. It doesn't make him any less of a national party leader. Robertson may not be a leader now, but that's irrelevant. He is passed his prime. But make no mistake, in his day, he was quite influential. Quote:

However, Nagin makes similar ridiculous comments about God punishing our nation with hurricanes (something definitely not to be in the realm of politics) and atop of it makes racist comments. And he is an elected member of the DNC, and the DNC has not made any effort to chide or chastise him. How have I lost this argument at all? |

Regardless of what you think about Robertson (which is completely wrong, btw), the comparison you asked us to make was between him and Mayor Nagin. Between the two, one clearly has had, and arguably continues to have national influence, and that's Robertson. So you lose at the internet again, my friend. |

Certainly the Christian Right voted for Pres. Bush, just as the vegans and other shady characters casted their college-age votes for Kerry, but this makes neither an honest and complete representation of the party. |

KULTUREKLUB! LOOK HERE! Way to have missed out the fact you got wrong that Pat Robertson ran for President as a Republican and also I would expect you to miss out that W may well owe his current presidentiary to the votes of the Christian Right Wing of which Pat Robertson has the substantial influincing to! Why don't you just call me a 'cunt' and ignore the ideas of which the post I just made has in it you 'Plaid toes' punk, although I would not expect you to know what my liberal slang means! |
