Decider in Chief "I hear the voices, and I read the front page and I know the speculation," the president said. "But I'm the decider, and I decide what's best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the secretary of defense." I'm not sure what it is about this quote that strikes me as so hillarious. Is it the use of the word 'Decider' instead of saying 'I make the decision'? Is it the 'You're not the boss of me' childish petulance? Or just the bone stupidity of keeping Rumsfeld on? |
