And on a side note, the word "irrespective" drives me NUTS! My lawyer loves to use it, and I have to fight myself to keep from telling him that THERE IS NO SUCH WORD! *sigh* Maybe if I got laid once in awhile, I wouldn't have these problems. :/ |

The words "infered" and "implied" are NOT interchangeable. When you want someone to "get" something from a statement or situation, you are "implying". When you hear or see something in a statement or situation, then you "infer" it. The Spelling & Grammer Nazi strikes again! Pow!

Yeah, I was kinda worried that she might go back to her ex at some point. She mentioned how her ex proposed to her and that sort of stuff. I really didn't want to hear any of it, but since this relationship is still kinda fresh, I was too polite to tell her that. And as for the details of her ex's death, all I know is that he jumped from a high place and gravity did the rest. |
