Mystie I don't like spray deodorant because it feels like I'm putting air freshener on my pits. I've been using Dove for a while now, and it's pretty fantastic as far as deodorant goes.

Mr. Vagiclean old spice HIGH ENDURANCE ARCTIC FORCE is good enough for me and i borderline have sweating issue!

Coca_Dolittle You know? I always find spray deodorants to not work as well... And AXE smells like old man; OLD MAN USING THE LITTERBOX. That's how bad it smells.

Gurlugon Spray deodorants are king. Just alternate on and off days and your shirts will survive.
Nov 25th, 2006 12:55 PM
ArrowX yeah same here and I have primarily black shirts with no marks, its probably just the Americana sweating out of dole
Nov 25th, 2006 02:48 AM
Mike I had no idea people had this much trouble with deodorant. I just use the cheap and basic Speedstick. It hasn't fucked up any of my shirts.
Nov 25th, 2006 02:08 AM
ArrowX I use gel deodorant

that smells like LIGHTNING :O

Coca_Dolittle You know? Deodorant is for losers! Smelling like the apocalypse during low-tide is one of the most free sensations one can have! I life my armpits to you, world!

Dole The day a deodorant is made that doesnt fuck up t-shirts (despite any wildly innacurate claims from manufacturers), I shall be a happy bunny. Had to bin so many shirts over the years due to build up of deodorant muck.

kahljorn " I guess this is like my "why does pee smell?" post...does sweat have a certain smell because of what you eat?"

most of the reason why you eat is to replace the cells/fluids in your body that die or are used everyday. That's why they say you completely regenerate your cellular structure (except a couple of places) every couple of years.
it's also where that old addage, "You are what you eat" comes from. It's true!

ps same for babies that are being made in the womb the mothers body creates it out of the food the mother's eatting i use this as an example because it's a more common understanding (people know they shouldn't smoke/drink when they are pregnant this is why). Just imagine how many mothers are cooking up little mcnuggets in their womb. It's also important for prenatal development :O

EisigerBiskuit I must be using the wrong on both sides, since gels just make it all runny and funkatron, and the cake doesn't leave any marks. Am I a woman?

MetalMilitia I don't like the sprays with powder in as the powder always seems to stick to hairs creating an inpenatrable white-ish coating.

Although it could be down to me not washing frequently enough.

the_dudefather that explains why I sweat toast
Nov 21st, 2006 06:25 PM
zeldasbiggestfan If you eat enough garlic youll smell like garlic for awhile and if you eat a lot of it you can actually sweat and smell like it.

DuFresne I actually researched that about half a year ago. Yes, it does have something to do with what you eat. That's why Indian people smell like curry and onions. Of course, that just explains why someone's BO smells the way it does. The reason it smells at all is because bacteria thrive in warm, moist, sweaty, body crevices.

I couldn't answer why what you eat affects your BO smell. I just know it does.

FartinMowler I can only wear deoderant for special occasions...it gives me a rash. I guess this is like my "why does pee smell?" post...does sweat have a certain smell because of what you eat?

McClain That's what happens when you play bocce ball without actually using your arms.

Emu I find sprays tend to burn when applied to open sores in the armpit. Thoughts?
