Abcdxxxx It's just weird to me when people use the bloodlines thing to paint Jews as having a superiority complex.

In religious terms, it's the Jewish spirit which is most important, not bloodlines, and that's how converstion is rationalized. In political terms, it's no different then laws in place within Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and many African nations. All Westen nations give preference in the way of social services to those born into automatic citizenship. It's true, Jews find themselves in a neverending debate within their own communities over who is or isn't deemed a Jew, but it's nothing compared to what goes on in Islamic communities, and I believe it exists in some form with Christians too. So again, while Jews do have many unique traditions (ie. wearing horns and flying around the room), this particular one isn't unique.

I realize you're joking, but I'm answering this anyway because it seems to bother people.

Abcdxxxx That last part is true at least. Nobody else wants your sour blood. We just have the common sense to mix it in with a little Manischevitz first.

Unfortunately we don't have a monopoly on the blood line thing. Cookies, yes. Bloodlline, no. Good thing that Ant is astute enough to put "people" in quotes...we're not people, we're aliens. Pyramid building aliens.

Act like you know something sometime, Jeanette. Since you don't decide Halachic code, let's defer to Israel's Rabbinute who have never ruled on this consistantly on that difference. They have decided that a Man needs to be able to consent, and aware of the insemination in line with scriptures (Genesis specifically).
