twiggyiggy I love how next to the partially devoured lady corpse is a bag of beef jerky. Delicious.

It does come with a little treat bag that he carries around, don't think there's any real candy in it. I wouldn't dare steal his candy anyway. Sam has a real mean streak you know...

Yep, you can remove the burlap sack mask to see his true face. The detail is super nice, but I don't wanna post it here in case other people haven't already seen the flick yet.

Yeah, I think it was an animatronic puppet actually. It kept asking me for its medication despite my repeatedly telling it, "Sir, I don't have any pills for you!"

Kat I personally think the Bambi stuff was the scariest of all.
Apr 14th, 2010 10:02 AM
saturnknight Does the mask part come off to reveal Sam's true appearance? If not it's still freaking cool and I think would be a great Halloween accessory in any haunted house

Gourry When I saw the Frankenstein and Bride Pez dispensers on page 3, I immediately thought of you and Re. lol

Copper Holy crap. I didn't think Jonathan Winters was still alive *laughs* Great to hear, but damn.

Note to all convention vendors:
We attendees are already paying good money to get into these events, so we're
not going to pay full retail costs (or higher) for your merchandise. Wise up already.
Truer words were never spoken.

Also, can someone identify the critter *behind* "Another solid Frankenstein" on page 5. I'm curious.

caffman Absolutely no idea why, but the picture that made me nearly piss myself? Surprised Kong. Oh and that really IS a creepy ten. God knows what an eleven would look like!

DarkfireTaimatsu DIE ZOMBIES KOMMEN made me laught, I don't quite know why.

That proton pack is enviable. You couldn't pry me away from even just looking at it very easily, let me tell you.

dextire That's a very cool show.
And you even got to see Jonathan Winters!

Are you able to take Sam's mask off to reveal what is underneath, like they (surprisingly) did in the movie?

Mockery Nah, I didn't buy the soundtrack because I had already seen it cheaper on eBay. I spent $60 on this bad boy instead:

Scooter Atreides Especially dug the old Imagineering stuff. Today's Halloween makeup, even if it's technically superior, will never match the charm of this line. All they needed was a Kooky Spooks costume to really capture the essence of Halloween in the 80s.

(P.S. I've been waiting for a site like this to do a piece on Kooky Spooks for a long time, if anyone is qualified, it's you guys.)

Hanglyman Is that Dr. Phibes I see on page two? Awesome.

I think the "eerie accountant" is supposed to be the 10th Doctor from Dr. Who, judging by the TARDIS at the base, but it's not a very good likeness.
