This guy was actually working on a font-editor for the old lucas arts games, but I don't know if he's still doing it. If you need to, you can translate the page with google or whatever...

Making Scumm font?

This is not exactly the right forum to post this, but I figure I'll get more helpful responses here than in Questions & Suggestions.

I want to make the dialogue font used in most of LucasArts' old adventure games into a TrueType font:

My first problem is that I can't find a fairly simple font creating program, perhaps suited especially for pixelated fonts. If anyone has suggestions, I'd like to hear them.

Second, I hope someone who has more experience in font creating can tell me if making this font is possible; I already know that the font will have to be 'hollow', because it's essentially a two-colors font, but the black outline of the letters needs to overlap, so that when you type a word, there's only one pixel of black between each letter instead of two. Can this be done?

What I'd like even better of course, is if someone could actually put together this font for me using the characters I provided. I could provide additional examples from the game to show how everything is spaced.
