Yes I am.
The guy who owned the fed I worked for had me meet him at the hotel they were staying at. I got to hang out for a bit while he was working out the autograph signing times with them for the next day.
That kicks ass. Hopefully I can meet Rob Van Dam, if he's at his comic book store's opening in Longbeach.

Rev. Oh yeah that famous mime came to my school when I was 6, but i don't know how to spell his name...Oh i met Russel Simmons, from Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, not the black Russle Simmons... the white one that was also in Butter .08.

Geggy First time I went to Spooky World, I met Kane Hodder (Jason from Friday the 13th). Couple of years later, I went again and Lou Ferrigno was signing autographs. Of course I didnt get his autograph, it wasn't worth the 50 bucks. He was much scarier in person. Those eyes, man...whoo!

DecapitatedHate I met Matt Zanes after a show he opened up for, he's a pretty funny guy. I just wish I had his "Back stage sluts" video for him to sign.
Jun 24th, 2003 03:02 AM
UnDeath I met Danzig after a show, he signed my ticket stub.
Also, at a DBX show, my friends and I were hanging out with Brockie (Oderus from Gwar) in the parking lot. He signed my wallet.

Sam By "suck it crew" are you referring to Degeneration X?

If you were, I'd have to be insanely jealous. They use to be my favorite when they were together.

Who I've met

Too many to remember......

I've been a drum roadie, a valet for a wrestling fed, and I work security for fantasy/sci-fi conventions

Most notable......

Wrestlers
The Undertaker
George the animal Steele - a blast to get drunk with
Brett Hart
Lanny Poffo
The entire original "suck it" crew
The Hardy Boys
Luna
Jasmine Saint Claire (also a porn star)

Musicians
Metalica
King Diamond
Testament
Mike Patton (I used to go to school with his girlfriend at the time)
Goa Gil
Kip Winger (shhhhh don't tell)

Actors
Bob May
Reggie Banister
Claudia Christian
Michael Dorn (Matthews...top of the hill Daly City)

And earlier this month Taye Digs (sp)
I didn't even know it was him. We had gone to see a production his wife was in and while we were waiting to get her autograph we were talking to him about his snoopy tee-shirt. He seemed so amused with us. At the time we didn't know why. When I found out who it was I laughed my ass off.

timrpgland I suck and haven't met anyone that I can remember. I have seen McGuyver's house though since he sometimes lives in the area and is from MN.

Daphne Here are the people who I've met:

Emo Phillips pretty much just talked to me cause I was sitting in the front row during his act, and I was a 16 year old girl dressed like a tramp, but he was really nice after the show and gave me air kissies.

I saw John Neville in a play, at Stratford (Ontario) and he winked at me.

I saw Harland Williams at a party at the Masonic Temple (where horrible Mike Bullard tapes his shows...he's the guy Tom Green made barf with the dead raccoon) but we didn't talk. He smiled at me though! Then I got drunk and peed on the balcony, TAKE THAT BULLARD!

I also met some of the Kids in The Hall:

Kevin McDonald is just fucking funny, I saw him crossing the street and I said "why, I know you!" and he yelled "I'm SORRY!" in that funny voice he does and ran off looking over his shoulder at me. I saw him again once, when I was trick or treating on the street he lives on, only he was dressed like an old lady and in full make-up.

Bruce McCulloch is by far the sweetest. I see him all the time, walking his dog, and he always says hi and is friendly. I met him at a comedy show (Corky and the Juice Pigs, back when they were indy and funny.....met them too!) and I asked for his autograph for me, and my friend who wasn't there. He was so nice about it and wrote 'Hello Sweet Daphne' and then said "Ok, I'm gonna draw a line then do hers down here, ok?" which I thought was just adorable . And he wrote 'Suzanne, where were you??'.

Mark McKinney I didn't really meet, but he was unlocking his bike outside a coffee shop, and I saw him through the window and waved frantically, and he did it back to me, for a good 60 seconds before he rode off.

I've met a bunch of Canadian celebs, like Ralph Benmurgui (who's a sleazy fucking pervert) and Colin Mocherie (sp?), who I passed on the street and said 'Hi' to. And I've met all the lame Much Music VJ's, because they work around the corner from me.

I think that's it...

Pub Lover Paul & Barry Chuckle.
Jun 22nd, 2003 02:11 PM
Protoclown Kevin Smith
David Prowse (Darth Vader!)
Marilyn Manson
MacCauley Culkin (most of the mockers who were in New York were there for those two, though few of us talked to them directly...our group just kind of bumped into them)
Amy Lee (singer from Evanescence...she signed Roger's boob)

That's all I can think of.

Older. She told me that a few years ago and it was someone who'd been on for at least a few years at the time. I can't remember who it was right now though

I think his first name was matt (and of course it's not matt fucking groening).
