geeks today, i've mostly been watching "mtv spring break", i didn't even realise it was spring yet, anyway. there were two programs, "made" and "my son has been kidnapped by rockstars". "made" featured a boy in the school choir at highschoool who desired to be in the basketball team to be popular, he was a geek. then, "my son has been kidnapped by rockstars" had another comp sci. geek in it who apparently spent 20 out of 24 hours on his computer, if this is you, speak up because i reckon you'll be here or something. he was a geek too. the thing is, i noticed they walked the same and their "aura" or "daemon" or whatever it is said geek too. anyone else find this? geeks are one of the last groups it's socially acceptable to ridicule on television. But we will have our day. |
