update: friend and i go to borders, not really expecting much... but then... we see DEAD ALIVE: UNRATED. holy shit. small problem, i have no money. i look desperately at my friend... he's loaded with cash. i grabbed and shove it in his face going "heere! heeeeeeere!" long story short, he says "...nawww" i wanted to castrate him, i go home. next morning, he calls me up and says "they dont have it anymore" i'm ready to wear vengeance gear and fullfill my earlier impulse when he says "i bought it" i rush over. we watch it...to the end...at the end... my head hurts, my stomach lurched many times, and i nearly died laughing... this movie is GOD. |

A rare post from KJ, I should've known that a big feature on Dead Alive would draw you out of the woodworks! Anyway, yeah, it's always funny when you talk to a hardcore Dead Alive fan about the R-Rated version. You can just see a swell of anger come over their face within mere seconds. though..because of that movie...I cannot eat custard..I always think there is old lady goo in it... Ok, now I'm thinking you didn't even read the review. Fuckhead. |

The edited version of Dead Alive is possibly the gayest thing ever....I remember renting it once on accident (i was bored on night, and didn't own it then) and i was just shocked..it's pathetic...I kept going "What the fuck!?" over and over again..and then turned it off... Never ever rent it! though..because of that movie...I cannot eat custard..I always think there is old lady goo in it... |

Bad Taste was definitely a great flick, and they put out a really nice DVD for it not too long ago, but it still can't compare to the almighty Dead Alive. Hopefully someday they'll release a "collector's edition" dvd of it or something... And yeah, make sure you see the UNRATED version. The R-rated version is blasphemy. |

In can honestly say, that movie had more blood than Saving Private Ryan. It's about equal with the Evil Dead Trilogy in amount of blood. Yes. The ENTIRE trilogy.

yay! braindead is one of my favorite movies, i love the bit when he finished lawnmowing the room of zombies, but the floor was so bloody he kept slipping, so used the dismembered peices of zombies as stepping stones.. you have to review meet the feebles at some point, another of peter jacksons movies. btw: yeah i called it braindead, because im a rebel! and thats what the movie is called over here (and in austrailia i think) |
