The pixies were always one of my favorite bands. Frank Black and the catholics are good too. I remember looking this up, they should be a tour next year, and if all goes well, there will be a new album. Good times |

I have 9 Pixies cds, but if you count my Frank Black and Breeders stuff into that it becomes 23. Frank Black is probably my favorite songwriter/performer ever, tied with Tom Waits. I would LOVE to see the Pixies get back together and it's been rumored for a while, but at the same time I would hate to see the Catholics break up. I'd be happiest if the Pixies did a tour and recorded a new album (which would NOT suck based on Frank Black's recent work), but then Frank Black kept working with the Catholics as well on the side. |

| Mockery | I don't hate the Pixies, I've just never bothered really buying any of their shit. The few songs of theirs that I heard just didn't interest me that much, but I'm always opening to checking out one of their albums. I think Proto has a shitload of their stuff if I'm not mistaken... maybe I'll listen to one of his sometime. | |

God that's old news This also brought up the fact that i always learn of things last, it was a month before I learned Layne died, I was still waiting for a Alice In Chains reunion. |

Pixies Reunion? I always liked their work, beats the living shit out of Nirvana. Anyone else hear about a reunion someone told me about reading about it yesterday. I can tell that 99% of this topic will be about how much each individual hates the band
