The_Rorschach The Lump and the Magic Herpes Bird

Sounds almost one of Aesop's fables.

FS I wonder if the First Lady calls W "the magic herpes bird... in the bed."

The_Rorschach I could write a haiku about Bush. . .

death falls from above
tragic clown now a great man
magic herpes bird

Immortal Goat Although the subject matter was more fitting to our fearless leader, Max, there were not enough grammatical errors in it to bei his work.

mburbank Bodies is red
'till bodies turn blue
Oh my lumps in the ruins
How I've slaughtered you.

soldiers are deader
But more theirs than mine
The wife mends the fences with that fucking French guy.

I've outed a spy and I lied about nukes
When the frog kissed your claw I wanted to pukes
I probably missed you, says so in my notes,
Touch that French Fuck again and I'll tear out your throat.

mburbank See, I just can't accept that she wants the American public to know that's how he thinks of her, even if it's some sort of bizarre, jes' kiddin' Republican pillowtalk.

I mean, hell, the wife and I have some jokes between us that are less than complimentary, but we don't share them with the world press. I guess 'better half' don't mean much when the first half is W, at least in the smarts department.

sspadowsky I think the "lump in the bed" line is rather telling.

mburbank I find it equally appauling that Lady W chose to read this poem allowed. And one assumes this decision was vetted by first her staff and then signed off on by the Presidents staff, which probably focus grouped it first.

Helm I think I prefer Communism and it's 100+ millions of dead people to this poem.

The One and Only... I can't decide whether Bush's unusual grammatical structure is a result of his inability to write a poem within our language's formal confines, or whether he doesn't know how to write proper sentences.

"Roses are redder" is my favorite line.

Perndog He can't possibly have *everything* written for him. Some of the things he says are dumb in far too complex ways for him to just be misreading.
Oct 6th, 2003 03:25 PM
strangelysublime THis guy has all his speeches and statements and everything else that he says in public written for him, and then he goes and does that. he at least sounded somewhat smart when he was reading other people's stuff.

Immortal Goat I would imagine it would go in stages, Max. Was it something like...

THIS??!!
:/

Cuz that is about the same thing I went through. Then came the puking.

mburbank I read the thread before clicking on the link. I was absolutely certain that One and Only was making a joke. Imagine my shock.

Immortal Goat Edgar Allen WHO??!! Bush is such a great writer, his poem made me feel a sensation that is usually reserved for under-cooked poultry.

The One and Only... Roses are red
Violets are blue
Oh my, lump in the bed
How I've missed you.

Roses are redder
Bluer am I
Seeing you kissed by that charming French guy.

The dogs and the cat, they missed you too.
Barney's still mad you dropped him, he ate your shoe
The distance, my dear, has been such a barrier
Next time you want an adventure, just land on a carrier.
