sspadowsky | See, here's the thing, Italian: I've read some of Coulter's work, so I can justifiably call her a nutcase. You should reserve your opinion of Franken's book until you've actually READ at least SOME of it.

"no, and I don't need to. I can tell it is just another biased piece of trash just by knowing the author." thats the reason I never read the bible. |

Then why mention it? You can read a good interview with Franken here: http://media.guardian.co.uk/broadcas...054953,00.html |

ItalianStereotype | if you don't like this book, you might enjoy Ann Coulter's Treason and its beliefs that liberals are killing America.

Lies and the Lying Liars who Tell Them (Al Franken) Most of you probably heard all the hoo-hah about the idiots at Fox News suing Franken for his use of the phrase "Fair and Balanced." But how many of you have bothered to go out and BUY the book and READ it? HUH? Well, it's very funny. He mocks, and documents lies from, Ann Coulter (chapter 2- "Ann Coulter: Nutcase"), Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and more that I just haven't gotten to yet. And he gets plenty of jabs at Dubya and his administration. It's got a bitter edge to it, which I must admit I like. This is not a book that is going to bring any conservatives over to the dark side, but anyone who enjoys satire, and anyone who prefers not to let talk radio schmucks tell them what their opinion should be, should enjoy this book. |
