Yeah, I've heard about this. Generally, your hosts file is a GOOD thing, because you can put the addresses of really gay websites in it (like ad sites) and your computer will redirect itself to itself to look for the information.

search site problemo just a heads up: i just had to delete some hosts file on my computer that was put there by some bad program thing so i could reach google and other search engines. if you're having a problem reaching the search engines, or getting results from searches, do a search on your computer for hosts files and delete the one that has all the search engine names in it. then you have to do something with a dns command prompt thing. god i suck at talking tech. chimp? do you know what i'm saying? can you explain this better for people? thanks. |
