There's still good hip hop. "The Future is Now" by Non Phixion is one of the best albums I've heard in years, and it came out last April. It's just that instead of buying good hip hop, people buy Nelly

The first Gravediggaz album is 6 Feet Deep (Also known as "Niggamortis") and is extremely good, even though it sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom. "The Pick, the Sickle, and the Shovel" is also a good album. Horror-core is cool

Been meaning to check out Gravediggaz for a while now. Which album would be a good place to start? Oh yeah, the Donnas are fun (no not in that way). And Simian sucks. |

Rez, those are good choices. Also look into: Non Phixion (!) Jedi Mind Tricks Boogie Down Productions / KRS-One Cormega Dead Prez Gravediggaz Deltron 3030 (Del tha Funky Homosapien and Dan the Automater. Kind of like a sequel to Dr. Octagon, which you should also get) Sunz of Man GZA/Genius Inspectah Deck (Uncontrolled Substance is one of the best rap albums ever) Canibus Timbo King (a lot of rare stuff, but if you can find it it's really good) A Tribe Called Quest Slick Rick Talib Kweli Those are just a few

I dig Autechre. Just haven't listened to any of their albums in the last two weeks, which is what this list is. Sigur Ros are fucking horrible. Don't quite understand the deal with Amon Tobin either, though I've only heard a few songs off the new one. Oh yeah, forgot to include Drowningman and Swans in the "like" category. |

no one is allowed to hate amon tobin or sigur ros  not really, but i "strongly disagree" the only thing from aphex twin i'm tempted to put on anymore is SAW 2, ever since i heard autechre, RDJ's been slippingdown the ladder. godspeed owns. |
