Jixby Phillips The whole ending for the French version was done so they could get more money to finish the pilot. David Lynch promised that he'd give it a proper ending to tie everything up so that they could release it as a stand alone movie in France.

You can also get the pilot on DVD from Korea, but the quality sucks compared to the first season DVDs. It's region 0, so it plays on all DVD players.

YES!! thank you! Fucking worst sub-plot ever. I loved season 2 except for Heather Graham's freaky fucking face (she looks like a goddamn Dick Tracy villan with her tiny face and giant head) and Billy Zane's bad acting (and humping of my girl Audrey motherfucker).

And yeah, Bob dies in the french version, and it's REALLY stupid.

I'm lucky, in Canada they run Twin Peaks all the time-including the pilot-on the 'Scream' network (best channel ever)

Bennett This thread started off talking about watching the second season. Were you watching an old VHS or have they released the DVD's?

pjalne The pilot is on the region 2 set, for those in Europe and with region-free players.

I hear Killer Bob dies in the pilot?

Jixby Phillips Whatch the pilot episode first, it doesn't come with the first season DVDs. If you watch the VHS version that's out, then you have to ignore the ending; It's a european version that is edited so that it runs like a stand-alone movie, instead of being the pilot of a TV series.

Rongi This series is on my list of thing's I'm missing out on .

So far I've got Trigun, Vanilla Sky, and Memento crossed out. If I can find the dvds, I'll check it out.

Mockery Haha yeah, I think the rich woman sidestory was purposely bad and overdramatic. But yeah, out of all the episodes in the entire series, the last one is just brutal to the senses.

Psycho Squid My brother loves Twin Peaks. I tried watching one episode of Twin Peaks with my brother and I didn't understand what the fuck was going on since I never seen the show before in my life. Since my brother has the first season on dvd, I can always borrow it from him and watch it anytime and try to make some sense out of it.

And I fucking love the last episode. It damn near scared me shitless when I watched it at four in the morning.

Twin Peaks: Season 2.

Just finished watching it, and I definitely don't agree with the people out there that think it's bad. The final episode was absolutely fucking eerie as hell.

Time to watch the "Fire Walk With Me" movie next...

For any of you who haven't watched the entire series, you've no idea what you're missing out on.
