The article was good, and it got me to thinking. Isn't it ironic that in the 1950's, when the country was at a point of narrowmindedness so great that no one really trusted one another, that Halloween was celebrated, while today, when we can find out anything about John Doe down the street with a few clicks of a mouse, Halloween is being treated more and more as "Satan's Holiday"? Maybe what we don't know can't hurt us. |
