Yeah Best Buy has it:

I'll try returning it after xmas. They used to let you return anything there without a receipt, but back in October they changed their policy. :/

Anonymous Or you could sell it on eBay for $200.

James OK, well, 3 DVDs. I didn't look at the link before.

All I'm saying is, you can usually get away with bringing in items to return for store credit after Christmas time.

Anonymous James, it's a DVD collection, worth over $60.

James Best Buy accepts returns without receipts, but not in this case. If you had bought the DVD from there, you could, because the receipt information comes up on their computers when they scan the item.

Hold out until after Christmas time. A lot of stores are more lenient then, because you can pass it off as a gift you don't want, and at the very least could exchange for another DVD.

DamnthatDavid You have a Best Buy 2??? Damn, lucky bastard, and we using the inferior Best Buy originals around here.
Dec 13th, 2003 03:30 AM
Protoclown If you wait until right after Christmas just about anywhere you go will take it without a receipt.

Ninjavenom Circuit City is like Best Buy 2. You'll be damned before they take something without a receipt.

Watch them not need a receipt and i am wrong.

Mockery Haven't been there in ages, does anybody know if they'll take returns without receipts?
Dec 12th, 2003 11:39 PM
Anonymous Circuit City?

Mockery I-Mockery freebies. One of the perks of running this site is the free stuff I get sometimes. The stuff I don't want, I simply sell off or return for store credit.

And no, I don't think BestBuy accepts returns without receipts anymore.

Carnivore Who gave that to you, Rog? That gift seems so far off from something you would actually want.
Dec 12th, 2003 10:36 PM
budgetjiggalo Ya as far as I know Bestbuy still does, I've returned countless gifts there without receipt.

DVD RETURNS

What other stores (besides Wal-Mart) allow you to return unopened DVDs for store credit without a receipt? Anybody know?

I have this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...56635?v=glance

and don't want it. :/
