ScruU2wice i dont have XP i have ME and my computers been on the crapwagon. last Friday i started up my computer and it showed only the backround but none of the toolbars or icons showed. we put on the system recovery disc and restored the programs but its still been crapping out since then

Perndog In Windows XP, if your mouse is controlled by its own program (which most mice with extra buttons and scroll wheels are), you can set the priority of that program to "Highest" which should eliminate the lag.

Mouse lagging

well first of all my computer got really screwed up and wouldn't go to desktop. we reinstalled the programs, but now my mouse is lagging pretty bad. It's not the mouse I got with the computer (I don't know if that has any thing to do with it) it's a laser mouse i dont know how to clean those things.

Anyone have any ideas?
