| Ant10708 | I always personally thought the finger touchign scene was suppose to resemble the painting as a parody. I guess you could stretch that hes Christ. But Jesus wasn't an alien. He didn't come from the sky, he was born. Also ET didn't get his ass nailed to a cross. he did almost die in a river and then was "resurrected". I guess you have soemthing going there. | |

e.t. phone home! e.t. is probably one of the best movies ever made for one reason alone... it is the story of christ as an alien! now before everyone goes mental let me tell you how i came to that conclusion. first off he comes from the sky. second he tells you to "be good" all the time. third he can mysteriously heal wounds. and finally just look at the poster it is a take on the painting on the roof of the sistine chapel! perfect allegory and you know what that is just my opinion you may interpret as a nice family film and i'll agree with you but just look deeper! |
